Do you know that Tesla is going to Launch Its First Restaurant Inspired By American Diners Of The 1950s? After electric cars and the recent takeover of Twitter, which became X, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed one of his latest fads. In fact, the American company has obtained the construction permit to create its first restaurant inspired by traditional American diners with drive-in service and an open-air cinema!
According to the little information provided, the restaurant would take place in Santa Monica, California. It would be similar to the typical American diner of the 1950s, with one difference: it would have a parking lot equipped with 32 Super Charger charging stations.
Recharging would not exceed 15 minutes and would promise up to 320 kilometers of autonomy. So the open-air cinema equipped with two giant screens would unfortunately not show films but only short films and video clips not exceeding fifteen minutes to offer a little entertainment.
However, although the project was officially launched at the end of 2022 with the support of the architecture studio Stantec and approved by the city of Los Angeles on July 18, no information on the start of its construction has yet been published.

Although the company is not always unanimous about its ambitions, it reveals once again that it is always where we least expect it. If Tesla enthusiasts seem rather excited about the idea of discovering the restaurant, some have some reservations about the completion of such a project and especially the resources that will be necessary.
And among Tesla’s most unusual creations, remember that it unveiled mini Tesla shorts to troll investors who did not believe in Elon Musk.
