This Teacher Invited Her Kindergarten Students to Her Wedding, And It’s Adorable

When we are a school teacher, we are very often taken with affection by our students, and we want to share the joyful moments of our lives. Kindergarten teacher Catie Zwier demonstrated this by inviting her class… to her wedding!

A teacher for nine years at the Good Shepherd school in Minnesota, the 34-year-old newlywed wanted to share this magical moment in the company of her second family: her students and the establishment’s staff.

A brilliant idea she had after hearing teachers say they asked their class to sing at their wedding. The icing on the cake was that her wedding ceremony was scheduled for February 2, exactly during the annual Catholic Schools Week celebration.

Everyone then pitched in to organize a surprise wedding for the children, which greatly moved the future bride and groom. In addition to being present at the ceremony, the students then waited for the couple within the school to form a guard of honor for them in the school corridors using silver pompoms.

An adorable initiative that warms the heart and offers a lovely moment of complicity that none of them will soon forget.
