Do you like Anamorphosis Sculptures created by Anamorphosis Artists? Many artists draw their inspiration from topical subjects and events, such as the creative Thomas Medicus, who creates sumptuous anamorphic sculptures highlighting endangered animals.

Anamorphosis Artist completed his graduation from an engineering school and then from the Glasfachschule Kramsach art school as a master glazier. The Austrian sculptor is particularly famous for his anamorphic cubes which thwart the perception of the eye depending on the point of view. After working for seven years in a stained glass company, he founded his own studio in 2021.

Thanks to his latest creation of Anamorphosis Sculptures titled “Human-Animal Binary”. In the new sculpture project, he has recently made a lot of noise. The committed artist thus unveiled a huge cube made of glass, concrete, and metal, the most intriguing part of which was inside. The cube installed in a public square in Austria revealed at its heart more than 144 strips of colored glass suspended from the ceiling which take on meaning as they revolve around the work.

Indeed, each side illustrates an animal threatened with extinction in the Tyrol region of Austria due to climate change, such as a lynx, a bee, a kingfisher, and a river trout, as you can discover below.
