Octavio Aburto is a Californian photographer and conservationist. He has spent years photographing the school in Cabo Pulmo National Park, Mexico. Over the past three years, photographer Octavio Aburto has had in mind to make a very specific picture: photograph the amazing underwater hurricane / macro shots formed when a group of huge amounts of fish congregates to spawn. Last November, finally had the opportunity to do it while diving with his friend David in Cabo Pulmo National Park in Mexico. A beautiful and spectacular video of 24 seconds duration Aburto witness what was observed ahead of you.

He has always been interested to photograph fish, known as bigeye trevallies. According to Octavio Aburto, “I’ve been trying to capture this image ever since I saw the behavior of these fish and witnessed the incredible tornado that they form during courtship. So, I guess you could say this image took almost three years to take.” Now we show you the impressive video and photography of this wonder of nature.
