The World's Largest Wooden Sculpture

Last week on 14 November, 2013 marked the 9th annual Guinness World Records Day, where people around the world attempt to break world records.

Chinese master and artist Zheng Chunhui unveiled the amazing wooden sculpture at “the Palace Museum in Beijing”. He spent four years to create his wonderful wooden sculpture. His gigantic work, made from a single tree trunk, was the largest wooden sculpture in the world. With a length of 12.29 meters and a height of about three meters, the artist has created a history of his people in the XI the century AD. This intricate sculpture features bridges, boats, buildings, and more than five hundred individually carved people.
