Garfield Hijacks the Posters of 2024 Cult Films For His New Film

The most selfish of cats makes his big return to the screens on July 17, and we are talking about the essential Garfield! 18 years after the last film in his honor, he returns to share with us new adventures that promise to be the craziest, according to the carefully thought-out promotional marketing campaign for the film.

A prankster and a bit irritating, Garfield had no more or less fun hijacking the most anticipated film posters of the year 2024 to promote… his film. A brilliant communication move that surfs the news and will certainly not fail to make you smile.

This is how Garfield finds himself stealing the spotlight from Deadpool, Ryan Gosling, Mufasa, and even Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet. How? By parodying the posters of the films where they are showing, such as Dune 2, The Fall Guy, and much more, surrounded by his sidekicks or… devouring his guilty pleasures.

As soon as the posters were published on social networks, this Sony Pictures campaign went viral. Among the other fun marketing initiatives, we will note an advertising panel that is made of dough or even a FOOH—not so fake! (See at the end of the article.).

And the pretty cool thing is that the advert board was actually created. When FOOH becomes real, it’s pretty awesome!
