I’m not American, but I don’t think Best Western Seaport is in NY. La Jolla is in California, you can even see some palms. What a deceptive article title.

This is a terrible article, completely unresearched.

First of all, the NY marriott at brooklyn bridge is in an luxurious section of BROOKLYN.

The Mandarin Oriental pictures is not the one in the Time Warner Center, but the one in Dallas TEXAS. It even says this in the Alt-text

Basically only three of these: the Mandarin (not the one pictured), Peninsula, and the Plaza would be considered Top 10-worthy by any objective standard. Take a look at the Four Seasons, Ritz Central Park, Trump International, Pierre, St Regis, The Standard Hotel, Bryant Park Hotel, Gramercy Park Hotel or many others not on the list for some actual luxury hotels.

Gotta love the New York Marriot, especially when it’s paid for by the company =) I’d recommend it.
