Angry Birds on Facebook with New Share & Play Feature

Rovio has added a new feature to Angry Birds on Facebook that could see the game crop up in more places across the Web. The casual game maker has rolled out the Share & Play feature, which lets users embed their latest Angry Birds level on a Facebook Timeline, blog or a website. It works much like the share feature found on YouTube.
The Share & Play feature consists of a widget which can be easily added to your website or Facebook timeline. Those who come across the embedded title will be able to play the game instantly on the respective page without ever needing to install the game. When you finish a round of Angry Birds you just need to click the share button to post it to your Timeline or click embed to obtain a piece of HTML code that links directly to the level that you completed.

Now a large number of internet users owning a blog (whether it be a self-hosted solution or a hosted Tumblr or WordPress site), this latest feature will stimulate interaction and provide a little bit of light entertainment for visitors. This is yet another way for the Finnish company to add more addicts to its already expanding universe of loyal followers.
