Most Android fans know that Google’s OS is the only mobile OS that come up with live wallpaper capabilities, in which special software-driven animated wallpapers can be set instead of static, image-based wallpapers. Despite Android’s live wallpaper feature, you can’t actually use a video as your wallpaper, so you’re limited to the software-rendered ones.
However, an exciting new app from UK developer Jack Hunter plans to make live wallpapers a thing of the past. According to its developer Alive Wallpaper is the only app that let you to pick from a collection of videos to set as your wallpaper.
The Alive Wallpaper is now exclusively available from Google’s Play Store and is free to download for a limited period. Once downloaded, open the settings and choose which scenes you want to run behind your home screen icons. There are deserts, forests, bodies of water and other neat videos that you can download and bring to life on your home screen. Have fun!!
