Igor Siwanowicz is the photographer who captured all these incredible photos. Igor used macro photography techniques while taking shots. Macro photography is a technique, which allows photographers to take close-up shots of subjects. Though it once referred exclusively to photography, which rendered the subject in life-size on the negative, it has come to encompass almost all magnified photographic techniques. Macro photography differs in many ways from other types of photography: it often requires specialized equipment and it requires that the photographer make a number of special considerations when planning their shots. Just take a look and imagine that how beautiful looking they are.

Congratulations on a spectacular macro photography of the natural world magnified to incredible detail.
Wonderful photos! However, I now know that I am absolutely terrified of insects and that will never change.
I am trying to contact Igor Siwanowicz about an article on tiger beetles for National Geographic magazine. I am a well-published author in science and nature. The editors at the magazine have expressed an initial interest and would like to see some striking images of tiger beetles submitted with the proposal. If you interested, Igor, please email me!
Hi Igor. I am a nature lover and am truly fascinated by your photographs. I am also an artist and I like doing sketches of insects. I would like to use your photographs as references and therefore I would really appreciate it if you could get back to me on that.
One of these pictures is a baby finch not an insect. Its a bird!
One pic is a baby bird an another shows a scorpion (arachnide/spider animal). Both are NO insects but all are incredible wonderful photos!
